Motorola HT1250 receive audio delay

I have a Motorola HT1250 programmed in the 160.xxx’s.
It started to have a receive delay. The bars on the screen show up and the red light on the top starts flashing, but I only begin to hear any audio about 2 seconds later, missing the beginning of each transmission.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Did you check your PL or DPL settings? Maybe not decoding to tone or DPL right away.
The sig meter and red led indicate the carrier/Busy.

Rx is a CSQ and Tx is a DPL of 167.9 (6Z)

Where is that setting in Motorola CPS R06.12.05 or R06.12.09?

That was the problem thank you.
It was accidentally set to 1500(ms)

Many times, the RX/TX delay is improperly set.
I still do not 'get' why this particular setting has a minimum setting of 1 second to switch from RX to TX.
This makes no sense to not make this setting more adjustable, as in allowing mS changes instead of that 1 second setting.
