Looking for a tune up procedure for my CDM 1550. Did not see it in the service manual. I'm trying to find out if I can adjust the xmit steering voltage and the CPS isn't that user friendly for me to understand.

Which manual? Basic or Detailed?

CPS has nothing to do with what you are asking about. You'll likely need the Global Tuner Software for that.

Sorry, I meant Global Tuner. I am not familiar with the effects of K&M Tuning, VCO Attenuation, etc. so that's why I was looking for information for tuning the transmitter. I did not see steps on tuning the xmtr or rcvr in both the basic and detailed service manual, so that's why I thought there might be a service procedure out there.

Have you looked at the Global Tuner help menu?

As far as K & M tuning goes you basically key the radio on different frequencies and enter the wattage you read on a service monitor/meter. Once you do that, the values you enter in CPS for high and low power should coincide pretty closely with the actual output wattage.
