Batboard

So, my buddy asked me to program his saber III however when I plug in the cable and read the radio is says that there is a problem with the connection and the operation is cancelled. The whole operation works fine on Saber II radios, is there a different cable for Saber III?

I might add that the radio emits a sold tone when powered up. The tome goes away when the cable is attached to the radio. Perhaps the radio is toast?

I think I got my answer, I used the proper version of software and found out that it is a 430Mhz split systems saber.
Looks like its a parts radio.
