Batboard

I am using some of the subject radios for racecar comms, and been having trouble with initial recognition of mic, speaker, and earphone configuration. I have been told that all items to be used should be plugged in prior to turning radio on, so that all components will be recognized or initialized. For example, a helmet mic and earbud setup that worked OK previously may only have the mic work and audio comes out internal speaker (no audio thru earphones).

Any words of wisdom for a relative Moto-nubie.
