Has anyone attempted to move an 800 MSF5000 to the 900 Ham band? Have one i've been working on, and I have it operating on the 900 band but the injection signal is just enough that it does receive. I need to get the signal up coming out of the injection amp. I cannot find the schematics for both the 800 and the 896 injection amps. Has anyone messed with the injection amps?

You know that the deviation on the 900MHz amateur band is 2.5kHz, and the 800MHz unit will be running at 5kHz. Don't forget to adjust your deviation on the transmit side accordingly.

With the cost of legitimate 900MHz MSF 5000 stations being so cheap, I doubt you'll find many folks who've tried to convert an 800 station to 900...

Yes I am aware of the deviation, have turned that down for 900, I just need to get the injection signal back up to where it needs to be...
