Looking for a listing of all paging,PL,Single,DTMF etc tones

Post by RFguy »

I used to have a comprehensive list of all tones. It was in numerical order and it showed PL tones, paging tones, single tones, DTMF, EIA tones etc.

It was handy when looking for adjacent tones on mixed systems to ensure no interaction. I think I made the mistake of cleaning out my file cabinet a while back and tossed the folder.

I have the Midian tone chart, but it was nice to have the fully compiled chart with the tones all sorted numerically.

Does anyone have such a chart?

Thanks,

Try going here and collect what information you think your looking for. Each of these can be found along with others by a simple search on the Internet for "paging tone charts". Maybe you should try it yourself and see what the results bring.

There are a number of different formats, including some from outside the U.S. Here are a couple of places to go:

http://genave.com/two-tone_paging.htm

http://www.midians.com/pdf/tone-signaling-charts.pdf

http://www.tampascanner.info/tones.htm

Just select the ones you want, left click and drag down the pages to copy the pages you want and then paste them into a word document to save each page one at a time.
