Has anybody figured a way to turn back the firmware on a XPR6550. It got upgraded to 1.12.11 but now there is a conflict with the "fix" that allows my XPR6580 to work on 902/927 ham freq's. For now to program the radio, I need to use a 2nd computer that doesn't have the 902/927 "fix", but I'd like to use the same machine for all the radios. I just need to go back one step, as any other FW version works fine. GARY

I assume there has to be a good way to do it seeing as the XPR8400 repeaters had a rollback package available for the CBridge bug they just had but I don't know how it was done.

I was able to turn back the FW on the 6580 by removing the Trbo flash, & making the radio conventional analog only, as 1.12.11 can't exist on a 6580 that's set up that way. Just wondering how to do it on a UHF radio. GARY

Doesn't matter, as CPS 10.7 plays nice with FW 1.12.11, so the problem is gone. GARY

CPS 10.7 has bugs in it. For example, it will not open a few saved codeplugs which were saved with previous versions of CPS.
