XTS3000 read error

I am trying to read a XTS 3000 serial 620CCJxxxx and get "Radio failed to acknowledge, Error content: 24, Status: c0000386. I am using Astro 25 portable version R20.01.00 and a Motorola serial cable. Computer is XP. I have a XTS 2500 and everything works good. What is the problem?

XTS3000 doesn't use Astro25 CPS.
It uses RVN4184

Nope, the XTS3000 uses the same cable as a Jedi series radio. Totally different.

FWIW the Astro Saber/XTS3000 CPS is available from other than Motorola. That is all I will say. And yes, Motorola Solutions is well aware that it is and does NOT care, as they do not support these radios any longer.
You can use any good quality aftermarket cable for the Jedi series, don't break the bank trying to program/support these 15 year old radios.
