problems fromging My MT2000

I just got my MT2000's in the mail the other day and finaly got the chance to program them. when i try to read the radio i get the fallowing error. "BUSS DATA COLLISION ON TX ERROR" i know its not a problem with rib to computer comms because i jsut programmed a maxtrac with it. any help, pointers? THANKS!

MTSX R02.00.01 gives me that error and MTSX R06.07.00 give me a "PROTOCOL ENTRY ERROR"

That's what I get on a computer that is too fast or if I try on a usb-serial adapter.

That is correct, Gota use real DOS with the MTSX RSS. And USB converter to serial does not work with the RSS.

but i can use the same machine to program a Maxtrac with no problem. would using dos box and slowing down the clockrate in the program solve the problem. The computer i use is a Dell Latitude d610 running windows XP.

Try it out. I use a elitebook laptop for HT1000, maxtrac gp300 but it won't do the trick for the MT2000. I'll have to find an older computer too
