Hi All

The good news is that Motorola finally got around to approving my account.

The bad news is that I can't find anything on their site related to the RDU series.

I've found that it's the same as a CP110 but I can't find anything on that model either.

Schematics would be fantastic, a parts list would be greatly helpful.

Am I not looking in the right place? Is there documentation for these radios under some other model number I don't know about?

I've found part numbers for the case and knobs (on dealer sites) so theoretically there must be some documentation somewhere.

I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out by pointing me in the right direction.

Motorola does not have a service manual for their "throwaway" radios. We have fought with them on this. The minor parts list can be requested from Motorola Parts ID. It consists of the on/off switch, audio jack and not much else. To replace battery contacts, you must buy the whole back half of the radio. If you find a list, or manual, please post it!

I found part numbers for the cases online since the RDU uses the same case as some other models but no schematics or parts lists.

This seems to be all I need for now, these are disposable radios so I only repair the easy ones, if it's not a PTT switch or a volume control or a channel control or a case or antenna then it gets tossed. Once in a while I'll re-write a corrupt EEPROM, I think the data is what you guys refer to as the code plug, (it doesn't involve the firmware) but that's where I usually draw the line.
