Will this radio support connect plus? We are in the process of converting to a connect plus system, and I wanted a small radio with a display and very few buttons for our maintenance staff. Figures, after I order a bunch of SL7550's, these would come out.

I am not finding that info on Moto's website at the moment.

Any ideas if they are planning a SL7550 in VHF?

No, it's a low tier radio, no trunking, no enhanced privacy etc

Have not heard of any plans for a VHF SL7550

On the one hand it would be hard to do given the antenna requirements

On the other hand they have a VHF SL300

Connect Plus, or Capacity Plus trunking?

If it's Capacity Plus, you could look at the XPR3300 or 3500.

Unfortunately, connect plus. So, we are stuck in the high tier radios. Thanks though!
