Moto Astro mobile W7 head VHF

Does this radio have a program mode (eg) a sequence or buttons to push etc. to put it into program mode ?

No it needs to be programmed with CPS and a rib.

It also needs the correct version of the software to be able to program the radio. If you try to use an older version of the software than what it was last programmed with, you won't get very far. You would get an error message.
