Mot HT-1250

Hello hope Everyone is doing OK, I am trying to program a couple of Motorola HT-1250 UHF-HT For A Church friend Who is a Ham and in charge of Security ,
1 is PMUE1407A MOD AAH25RDH9AA6AN
VER R05.13.09
Other one is VER R04.00.01 And This one the Display Light will NOT Go Off and the Top Button will not Program For Scan etc
I did Program them both the same Xmit and Rec , Scan and all other functions All works fine, If I leave it like this is will of course be a drain on the Battery , Ant thoughts or if anyone has had the same problem Any info will be greatly appreciated

,{ PS It is a Shame We have to have Armed security at a church I recall growing up over 60 Yrs ago the Church doors were all unlocked 24/7 }
