CDR700 Controller Part Identification

I have a project at work in which I need to install a HLN3333B RICK in a CDR700, the RICK of course is too small and the CDR service manual lists a controller with part # of HLN3948 which it says is a basic controller identical to the RICK. The manual also says that the HLN3948 comes with a tray to mount it in the CDR housing. Since we already have the RICK we don't want to buy another controller if we don't have to, does anyone know the part number for just the tray that the controller fits into?

Are you saying that the CDR700 does NOT have a "controller"? It would not be a CDR without a repeater interface.

There is a lot of problems with the dammed R.I.C.K.'s. There are much better products available to make two radios into a repeater that are NOT "controllers".

This is a new CDR700 housing kit they purchased, so it did not come with radios or RICK.

What radios are they going to use? TX? RX? Ham band?

Get the plug in adapter on EBay. Something like "MRE..." They are NOT controllers, simply a interface.
