R100 UHF repeater

I have an old R100.

Looking at various posts they mention that it can do Ham band with modified HEX stating 438-470.

Our Ham allocation is 430 -440 with repeater TX on the high 439-xxx and repeater RX to 431-xxx.

Has anyone successfully modified a H5015B uhf version to this low ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Bradley

I built the programmer and can read and write ok.

I will be doing the mod on the file to get the band down below 450.

The question is can I mod the Hex to values below the next step being 438 ?

I need 430 to 440 for uhf in my country

You would have to completely retune the receiver and exciter. Much of the information on the R110 is way out dated.

You can HEX edit the lower limit and realign the R100. I have many mods for the R100 even 'in band', for better performance. The VCO was one problem area.

The R100 has built in CTCSS.
