How do you program pm400 mobile to have one channel as a pager hear nothing on channel until page set off??

Look thru the help files, theres more than enough information in the help files built into the CPS to help you do this.

The PM400 is part of the Commercial Series of radios which includes the CM200 and CM300 plus the CP150, CP200, and CP200XLS. It is programmed identically to these other radios. There have been a number of discussions on this exact topic here and on a couple of other forums. You may find it helpful to use search terms like QC-II or alerting or Quik-Call.
