I use an 800 MHz MTS2000 on our statewide trunking system, so I decided to buy another MTS2000 in VHF.

I went to read it with CPS R02.03.00 and it will not read. I get an error.

I hadn't looked at the firware version of the radio until I got this error. Come to find out it has firmware version R02.03.

With this being a discontinued radio is there a way to get a firmware update for it?

Nevermind. Come to find out the radio is actually an MT2000 and not an MTS2000. Now I just have to track down the seller.

That is really old firmware for either MT or MTS.
