I can hear the pl tones when i recieve on my gp388 and 380. When the radio starts to recieve it goes =BOING= and then almost disaperes...
It waries from what pl tone i use, so it can only be that.
It only happens on my version 4 codeplug radioes, not on the version 6. Maybe it is somthing here?
Or maybe i have to check on a box somewhere to make it disapere?
Kind Regards Jens

Normally in commercial radios, there is a high pass filter that limits the audio below about 300 Hz from making it through the speaker audio amp. If your hearing the tones, then there is no high pass filter being applied in the audio path.

Yes i know.
But why does the version 4.x not apply the hi pass ? and the 6.x does?
Can it be swiched off somewhere?

How many radios are we talking about? If just one, the radio could be broken.

Typical WARIS PL buzz noise issue that nobody seems to have a straight answer to. I have two units that do it (HT 1550 and EX 600). I've played with the baseband settings to no avail.
