We are deploying our first 2016 explorers. It appears, according to the manual, that you MUST flip the rear hatch button between the head liner courtesy lights in the cockpit in order to activate the rear hatch release. or use the key.

Is there a way to tie rear hatch lock into the door locks button on the door panel?
