Motorola Mostar 858 MHZ as currently tuned trunked

What is involved to bring this unit up into the 900 MHz ham band? Or is it even reasonably possible to even consider such an effort

The Mostar was plagued with problems, and so few are even still around that this is not worth the effort. It requires special programming hardware that is difficult at best to locate, and I've never heard of anyone modifying these for anything other than doorstops.
