I've searched around for a fix to the problem I have but I have very little experience in audio electronics I may have seen my answer but didn't know what I was reading...
I'm trying to wire a headset to the accessory port of a CDM750 but I can't seem to get the mic to pass audio. Everything else works just fine. This is how it's wired currently ;
Pin 1 - Spk-
Pin 2 - Mic+
Pin 3 - PTT
Pin 7 - Mic-
Pin 16 - Spk+
I've seen people talking about possibly needing either a 1uf or a 10uf cap in line with Mic+ but that didn't help me at all. Any suggestions for a newbie like me to try?
Thanks for the help!

Re: CDM750 headset mic issue
It would depend on what type of mic is in the headset. It may need voltage, it may not, or it may need an amplifier. Can you tell us what make and model the headset is?
