XTS2500 battery question

Post by PATHman89 »

I have an XTS2500 Impress battery #NTN9858C that when fully charged shows 145% capacity. Is this normal?

Impress at times seems it can be a hit and miss :(. I have brand new batteries on the flip side that show 80% at full charge and work fine the entire day. I've heard of some of the more experienced folk giving impress a miss because they couldn't get it to work at all :(. Do a battery cycle (charger will show orange light for duration) and see what the outcome is from that.

Yes, especially when new. All of my 9858s (100 or so) have shown 135 or 143% shortly out of the box. Enjoy the capacity!

Over the past few days I have reconditioned the battery twice, it still shows a capacity of 145% so maybe that is the true capacity. Thanks for the help.
