Interstate Workaholic battery RAD1840 Date Code

Per the Interstate Battery website or anywhere on the internet this appears to be a secret.
After using up all my credits with google no help with this.
I have a date code = ARFFA

This is a typical Jedi battery offered by Interstate Batteries.
7.2V 1400mAh NiCad

Inquiring minds would like to know!

the AR portion is the supplier code. Not decoded.
The next letter is the month, in this case, June.
The next letter is the day of the month, 15th.
The last is the year, in this case 2010.

I saw all this on the website but this was stated to be for the vehicle batteries.
Nothing was stated regarding two way radio batteries regarding date codes.

SLA = "Sealed Lead Acid" as in most vehicle batteries,

and it is not clear what they mean by "private-labeled packs".
The RAD1840 has a typical Interstate battery Label on it.
