XTL5000 VHF With HMN4079 Mic Issues

Hello All,
I have a newly installed XTL5000. I am using a HMN4079 Mic. Some times on power up the mic doesnt power on (No Leds or xmit) I have to power cycle the radio to get it to respond. Any Ideas?
