Batboard

So, i am programming away and decide to write to the radio and i get this holy !@#$ my ears Beep sound the escalates when you write to the portable.
I believe it is 3 tones from low to high, I would like the tones enabled, but don't want to deal with that non sense every-time I write radio.
Advice?
Side note, RX audio from radio seems a little on the flat side/ tinny. have tried 4 different housing all with the same results, help!?

Those tones are real ear burners. No fix. Lay them face down in a towel. Takes the sting out.
