Batboard

Hi, I was trying to remove a top display. The manual said to push down and pull out or so I thought. The little PC board came off but when I tried to re-attach it, it would not fit tightly. I assume it is broken. So I guess you have to pull the whole thing with the LCD display as a unit. Can someone please tell me if this is the correct approach? Hi again, I ruined one of the 3 little spring battery contacts on a HT1000. I was trying to remove fuse and got solder on it. Can these contacts be replaced? I have another board I can sacrifice if I know how to remove he contact. Does anyone know how to do this?..............Thanks, Jim
