XPR7550 vs XPR7550e
So I've searched everywhere and can't find the topic being discussed... 7550 vs 7550e? Worth the upgrade?
Re: XPR7550 vs XPR7550e
Ive been trying to find out if there any real differences
Re: XPR7550 vs XPR7550e
The XPR7550e has WiFi built in, which is why I opted to buy it. Of course I have had a hard time trying to figure out the Remote Management software needed to program it via WiFi.
Also, be careful when buying a 7550e. Some are (E) as in enabled. Others are (C) as in capable. The old 7550's had most of the bell and whistles enabled.....capacity plus, linked capacity plus and so on. If you get a new 7550e CAPABLE model, it means the radio CAN have that feature enabled but you have to BUY the enhancement.

Re: XPR7550 vs XPR7550e
There are some errors on that page.
The XPR7550e "Capable" model comes standard with IP site connect, Capacity Plus, Linked Capacity Plus.
The options on the capable model, (that come standard with the Enabled model) are Wi-Fi, Connect Plus, Capacity Max.
LTR and Intrinsically safe are options on both models.

How do you make it do LTR in the programming software?RFguy wrote:There are some errors on that page.

LTR is an option board feature by Schuler Johnson. It has a separate programming software to configure the LTR features.
