CPS for the CLS series?

Hi All
I just downloaded the "Business Radio CPS" so that I could do some programming on the new RMU models and I noticed that the software lists CLS as a model it can read and write to.
Has anyone ever done this? I have been programming them by hand and cloning them in the 6 bank charger. I pulled out a single charger bay and it only has a barrel jack input for power. Can I go old fashioned with a comm cable into the mic port on these? What cable do I need?
