Batboard

I have an HT1250 with an odd problem. The backlight turns itself on. This happens about 45 seconds after turning the backlight off. Also, there is a dim backlight on at all times. I have tried changing the "Automatic Backlight" setting in CPS and that has no effect, same for the Utilities menu options.

It seems like a logic board problem. Any ideas?
