Can a xpr5350 display be upgraded to the xpr5550 full display ? if this can be done what besides the full diplay control is needed ?

Physically yes but electronically would be difficult. You'd need software that's not supposed to exist outside of Motorola and knowledge of how to do it properly. I have neither and it cannot be discussed in the forums.
