has anybody else encountered this? As soon as i plug in the usb cable to any usb port, radio will reset itself and keep resetting until i unplug the cable. Be advised that the XTL right below the one in question programs just fine with usb cable and doesn't reboot. About half of the xtl's i own do this when trying to use USB cable. Also be advised that using a USB-serial cable does not cause any problems - works just fine with all radios. Could this be a firmware issue? Using OEM cables.

Bad cable. Had this happen to me once and a new cable fixed it.
