HT600, HT1000 mobile charger HTN5438A diagram

Looking for a manual with internal wiring diagram for an HT5438A. Can't seem to get the portable radio battery to charge.

Have you tested the blue charge light bulb? It will not charge a battery if the bulb is no good. It's 28 volts, but check with an ohm meter.

Lamp tests good.

Would really like to find a board layout and schematic of the box. Really think something is fried. I sort of can smell like something got hot, but don't see any component damage.

Ok Jim, I found the Service manual page that has the schematic. Tried to send a private email/pm but it wont take the copy/paste of it. need your email address. Don S
