Re: T5600 Console questions
The RSS is RVN 4075D the version I have is VR04.00.02 dated Nov 5, 1992.
Its been awhile since I used it, but I *think* is uses a RIB and a special cable, that is easy to make.
There is not much programming to be done on those.
I don't remember there being a battery, but certainly could be. Again, too long.
Four wire or two wire audio just connects to the rear screw terminals.
I use mine pretty often to test wire line control stations, but have not needed to change anything in it for years.

						Re: T5600 Console questions
I checked the cable, and it is just an RS-232 connection.
DB9F to plug into your computer, and RJ45 to plug into the MIC/RSS socket on the T5600.
There is info on the old Batwing Labs site.
