I have a customer who wants to hook a 100w amplifier to a UHF XPR5550e transmitting DMR. I don't know if the amplifier will key and unkey fast enough to keep up with DMR TDMA. I read somewhere that Crescend makes the only amplifier approved by Motorola to work on MotoTRBO. However I checked with both Crescend and Motorola, and neither would confirm that.
Does anyone have any experience adding a 100w amp to a DMR radio? Anything you would vouch for?
