What radios do you own?: Too many

Post by Gman »

Hello everybody. Sorry for the ericsson post but I am forced to use these radios for my 800mhz needs in my town. Everything else I use MOT. Anyway,is the software for the lpe200 and prism radios under the radios name or does it have another name. MOT makes it easy like say gp300 software(duh) would be for the gp300. I cant seem to find the software I am looking for on my list. Also, the link below is for a radio on ebay. Does this radio do 800Mhz Edacs.Thanx again to everyone and have a great thanksgiving...

Hi. M/A-Com (Ericsson) EDACS radios use the same S/W, regardless of the radio. You can create one program and load it in portables or mobiles. The PN is LZY 213 766/1 R8A. It's not cheap, but will do both EDACS and conventional radios. If you are looking for someone to program your radio, I may be able to help. Send me an email, with what you are looking to do.

Their software is commonly known as ProGrammer software, too. And some versions are conventional only, while others allow entry of trunking data. The software supports several radio types at once.

Hi Gman
The radio on ebay won't do EDACS. Its a clone of a MAXON TP4800. It will do LTR trunking and conventional 800 only. There are hundreds of TP4800s out there now.
