Have an XTL2500 800 P25 that was just got a UCM added including AES and ADP, and flashcode upgrade. Got it back, programmed it with Hardware Encryption enabled, loaded several keys with KVL (all were accepted and can be viewed back on the KVL).

When you go to an encyrpted channel it will show the key name then KEY FAIL on every key, AES or ADP. I deleted all the keys and put one ADP key in and that works without any issues.

All the UCM and flashcode work was done by a 3rd party through a reliable source. But I'm thinking perhaps the UCM is not working as it should? Or am I missing something?

Well it's working now, I drug/dropped a good XTS secure config to it and now it works. The ONLY thing I can see that was different was Infinite key retention was unchecked on the XTS codeplug. Who knows.
