Since it has come up several times recently, here are some pictures of some of the Middle Atlantic Products custom rackshelves, in this case for the CDM series radios.

The mounts shown here are the brushed finish, but there is also a textured finish available (which would have probably matched better here, but...)

P.S. Before someone feels obliged to point it out- the RG58 and the adapter are only for a temporary test antenna. There will ultimately be a double shielded Mini-UHF to N jumper going to the PolyPhasers on the grounding block in the rack's back pan.

Just wondering... what's it all for?

I notice what look like three phone patches. Or maybe these are tone remote conversion units?

Could you fill me in?

The top is a power conditioner. Measures the amount of current coming in and prevents spikes.

The rack is part of an install-in-progress at the HQ of one the EMS agencies that I volunteer with. It is feeding several MC2500 tone remote desksets throughout the building.

In the rack, from top to bottom:
1) Furman PL-Pro Power conditioner / light module (really dirty power in our HQ)
2) 16 frequency tone remote adapters for the two CDM1550s
3) Blank
4) VHF and Low-Band CDM1550s
5) Blank
6) 16 frequency tone remote adapter for the CDM1250
7) Blank
8 ) UHF CDM1250 (low power)
9) Blank
10) DuraComm power distribution panel
11) DuraComm power supply
12) Pull out shelf

In the back of the rack, not seen in the photos, is the main ground bar, Poly Phasers for the antenna lines, 66 block for distributing the tone remote lines, and the ground bar and surge supressors for the tone remote lines.
