I have a GP-68 that I want to use to listen the the local stations. I would like to hook it up to an external antenna. Does anyone know where I can get an adapter so that I can use it with a BNC,mini-UHF,PL-259, etc connector??? Thanks,

Jocko: The dealers who handled GP68's used to sell the adapter you're looking for, and I think they got about $14 (ouch!) per unit.

The top fitting is a BNC.

You can buy BNC to RF Adapter for GP300/350, Part number is HLN9756A.

The third part adapter is much cheaper the M¡¯s.

Jocko: Best I can do is to refer you to a company named Intellix somewhere in Eastern PA, and a person named Joel. They used to sell GP68's and had all the stuff to go with them.
