I have two new Kendoo battery's for my MTS2000 radio's.
They are 1700Mah and 2700Mah Ni-MH.
I only have them for two days so i don't have the current capacity yet, are this good battery's or is it s.it?

These batteries and eliminators that they make appear to be ok I have purchased them at Dayton Ohio a couple of years ago
and had no trouble . Raymond

I've used them for about the last two years on several different makes and models. they hold up as good or in some better, as the OEM.

I had a couple of these batteries for my Sabers. They actually fit better than the OEM batteries. Even if you have a smart charger, I would suggest draining the batteries as much as practical (notice I didn't say 'possible') before recharging. The ones that I had developed a memory pretty quick.

i bought one ultra high cap batt from them in '99 for my mts2000 and it performed slightly better than the motorola ultra high cap batt that i was also using, i didnot notice much of a memory problem from that battery. for those who need to know, thier miami number is 800 691 5540, they also make knock off motorola speaker mics for some radios, they copy motorola molding style, im somewhat suprised that mot don't go after them for copying the style of the cases. they also make p110/gp300/lts2000/p1225 rapid chargers, and you guessed it, they look just like the motorola version, just say kendoo. i had a problem with that charger intermint opperating, so i took it apart to find a cold solder joint, easily fixable. tho i did notice that the circutry was not a motorola knock off, it was all thru hole components, the motorola circut board for the same charger is almost all SMT. the charger still works fine every day. when the motorola batt on my ht1250 starts giving me problems, i will be buying a kendoo, no doubt.

I use the 2700 mah KENDOO battery on my JT1000 & MT2000.The only problem i have had is that when i drain it completely dead it will not rapid charge with 1171 rapid charger .If this happens i slow charge it and it will be fine.I plan to buy an intele-charge charger that is designed for NiMH batteries.KENDOO has alot of great aftermarket stuff for a good price.

I have 2 Kendoo Batteries, one for a GP300, one for a GP350. Both are 1200Ma and 7.5V. The GP300 battery works excellent! Battery life seems longer then the Motorola battery! However, the GP350 battery drains faster, and the Motorola battery works better than the Kendoo. Kind of odd. I guess it all depends on who you buy them from (I got the 250 battery off eBay, new and the other from Kendoo).

The charging circuit is a "Delta Voltage" detecting. pulse mode fast charge configuration. The dual pocket chargers for GP 300's work quite well.
They are not too hard to fix, as mentioned in
other post on this subject, the connector for the power input fails rather easaly due to poor solder and the leads of the jack being cut too short. AS with any device that uses the DC power jack and plug, like most chargers made by // and Kendo, there is a high failure in the molded DC plug on the transformer power supply also. Again not hard to fix.
It would be REAL NICE to have a circuit diagram to help fix these... I fix a lot of them for a rental company.

PS they run MUCH cooler than the // rapid charger!!!!!!
