I'm having trouble with my Compaq LTE 286 computer that i run rss on. Does anyone know of any computer board that could help me out with this? In case anyone is woundering, the computer was booting up fine yesterday, but now today it gives me this message just after the memory test: "610 - External Storage Device Failure." Hard drive is spinning, and I opened it up and all connections from hard drive and disk drive are good. Thanks.

I've seen similar error messages on various computers, I believe your hard drive is fried. You should be able to find another one of comparable size fairly easily & cheaply. You'll of course have to reload DOS & all your RSS. Sucks that you lost all your archives, unless you were saving them to floppies.
