Hi, i program a few HT-1250 and a CDM-1550 for MDC-1200 signaling system; all the portatble can send a emergency alarm and the CDM decode, send the acknowledge and go in alarm state. At this point, all work fine... But i dont know how erase this alarm state on the mobile; i cant change channel or acced to the menu ... The only way i fond the return my CDM to "normal operartion " is to reset the radio. I look on the programmable button and other feature on signaling system but i found nothing about that....

Any idea?

Thanks

To clear or step through emergency alarms requires an external Emergency input switch, wired to an appropriately programmed pin on the radio's accessory connector.

Pushing any button on the radio will silence the alarm, but reset and clear will require an external switch or power cycle.

I simply programmed accessory pin #6 as "emergency input", and #8 as "auxilliary control 1", both active low. Jumper the two pins together. Then in the "Auxilliary Control" tab under "Radio Configuration" set the Control #1 momentary duration set to about 1000ms. Then program one of the front buttons for "aux control 1". Basically, everytime that button is pressed, accessory pin#8 will go low, which will reset the alarm via pin 6. Works nice, and no external alarm reset switch needed. I'm going by memory, but I spent a little time figuring it out, so I'm pretty sure that's correct.
