Well...I've finally gotten a pic taken of my current setup in my '97 explorer. While the pic isn't the best, it gives you an idea. For starters, I removed the factory black console inserts. Next I placed a 18" havis shields consolidator on top and secured it. The equipment contained consists of a Federal Signal Smart Siren for visual and audible warning purposes. Starting at the top, I have a 1" filler plate with a map light installed. Right adjacent to that is a Motorola digital handsfree startac car kit. 1st radio is a Motorola 20 Ch VHF M1225, 2nd is a Kenwood TK630 160 ch lowband, 3rd is a Kenwood TK830 160 ch UHF, and 4th is a Kenwood 730 160 ch VHF. You can also see a 5" LCD color screen that is interfaced w/ a VCR in the rear cargo area.

God, I HATE guys that run around with spiffy looking setups like this.

Cool looking boxes and ballistic nylon cases full of neat stuff; really nice rack set in the front.

I got stuff in the back of the city issued Cherokee too, but by the time I get to the scene, it's always laying in the floorboards or piled up against the seat backs....... 8)
