I have just purchased a M100 Radius mobile and it is of course the standard 2 channel model, and I was wondering if it is possible to take off the control head and change it with another radius mobile control head that will enable it to have more channels (like 8, 16, or 32). I know I would have to do some hex editing in the .mdf file which brings me to my next question:

My model # is D33LRA73A5BK and when I search for it in the .mdf file I can't find it. The closest match is several with the model # D33LRA73A5AK. There is about 5+ with the model # ending in the AK but mine is BK.

If anyone can help with the hex editing and control head question let me know, or just tell me it won't work  Thanks for any help!!!!

Hi:

I am affraid its not as easy as replacing
the Control head. Although, that is a step
in the right direction.

What you "Must" have is a Blank Logic Board
and I would strongly recomend writing" down
all the soft pot values of the radio you have
in the exsisting logic board. You can then use them as a guide line inrestoring the original values

When / if you can start with a virgin logic
board, you can then assign the radio to
" any ' perosnality within the radios capabilities.

Also, hopefully you have a Extended Board ( 16 pin ) which will support the ver 5.34 Firmware alowing 32 channel operation.
