Batboard

I just took a new VHF CDM out of the box today and when I went to power it up, it just emits 6 beeps and nothing else- no lights, no display. This is about the fifth one of these things that have had a problem out of the box! Anyone else experiencing this?

On a brighter note- I was speaking with Quickmount today and the dual-head conversion for this radio will be out beginning of the year. They are saying that a controller to use one head with multiple bands of radios is possibly in the works. Wouldn't that be nice!

Your situation is neat. I had this problem once. I looked for error codes in the book and didn't find any that matched the problem. I ended up calling the Big M they never heard of a CDM doing it and sad the radio is bad out ofd the box send it back so thats what I did. I hope this helps.
