HT-1000 Scan feature Help

I am requesting information on the HT-1000 radio, scan feature.
Is there a programming feature that is utilized on this radio that will allow the radio to scan and NOT receive users with a different CTCSS or carrier squelch? Thank you and Season Greetings!!
