I am trying to get a type II VHF mcs to display the MDC ID of other radios on the system. The radio does have MDC in it and does transmit the ID. So how do I get it to decode and display the ID????

The control head original/different? after that last email I'm stuck? I'm looking at the post below: MCS2000 Changing Control Heads
....any other ideas/input?

From the main menu, hit F4, F3, F6. You are now in "Display Options". If it can display IDs, you should see an "F9 more options" on the bottom. The only option in there is to turn "Caller ID" on or off. Your choices are disabled, ID only, and Alias Text.
