Can anyone tell me what the Mot part number is for the MT500 vehicular charger bulbs? I have red and green bulbs burned out on several chargers. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi:

The bulbs should be a 327.

Most surplus stores have them, and the
number should be printed on the side.

After you unscrew the jewel, the bulb
slides out from the bottom

Thanks... with that bit of info I was able to get one of the bulbs out. Its a PL330. Problem is, 4 of the 7 bulbs are melted to the jewel.

I suppose my new question is, what are the part numbers for the red and green jewels?

Thanks again!

Klep: The part number probably won't do you any good as the unit is no longer supported by Motorola. They MIGHT have jewels in stock but I wouldn't bet on it. Best thing would be to find junker units at hamfests and take the jewels out of those units. There are plenty of these units around and they sell for almost nothing, especially if they're not in working condition.
