Can anyone explain a little better , the out of band mod for CPS. I've read the link on the board, but I'm unsure what gets changed to what. I'm using cps 2.05.1 and want to go to 440 witha AS3 450-512.
Thanks
Chris

I researched the CPS band limit change methods, so perhaps I can be of help.
First have a look at my September 24, 2001 posting:

If you can use a hex editor then you should be able to open the .exe file and search out the band limits.
If you don't know how to use a hex editor but think you understand the concepts, grab a copy of BreakPoint's Hex workshop at:
http://www.bpsoft.com/
and have a play on a BACKUP COPY of your CPS exe file.
The key is to understand that the frequency limit is in Hz and coded as Intel unsigned long, that's 32 bits or 8 hex digits.

Please do..
I'm likely to be in the same situation.. needing to take a high split uhf down to 440..
In my case, I need the high split for monitoring local pd agencies, which are all in the 480-490 range.
