My Spectras are secure capable. I don't have (or want) encryption modules for them. I hate the 'blip-blip-blip' tone when using PTT but I really like the 'beep' tone that using the "clear tx" alert tone function from the secure menu produces. Only problem is that since I don't have a secure module, no tx or rx audio passes through.

Is there a way that I could insert jumper wires into certain positions on the secure header inside of the radio to pass the tx and rx audio through and trick the radio into thinking that it is encrypted so I can have my pretty little alert tone?

Thx
