I have gone through two HT1250's UHF and both have had problems with the keypad not working soem of the time, any ideas???

The first question is do you use the keypad alot?Ifso the white rubber part of your keypad may need to be replaced.This is a very cheap part most likly about $7-$10.This has happened to my JT1000,i also have an HT1250 but i have not had the same problem yet i beleive because do not use the keypad as much.
